The alto saxophone is a member of the saxophone family of woodwind instruments invented by Belgian instrument designer Adolphe Sax in 1841. It is smaller than the tenor but larger than the soprano, and is the type most used in classical compositions.

Well I guess its not the best shot ever taken of Lance Armstrong but I was being blocked in my view by the Team Lampre rider so just had to shoot and hope. There wouldn't be another chance, at least from this spot in suburban Norwood.

No pace on here, only 100 m from the start and the 'race' is really just a parade at this stage, the real stuff comes later. With 140 km in 37°C heat to come why rush the start!
